Hello Rocky Mountain National Park

I spy with my little eye....an osprey.

As you can see, a very large bull moose:-)

Alluvial Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park or what I'd like to call nature's playground.

I wanted to put this little 1 year old moose in my pocket;-))

The kids are standing where, around 1980, there was a flood.

I don't think this is ever going to melt...

Couldn't have asked for a better day!

This pic is a drive-by...how picturesque!

It was a great day ('cept for the non-stop chatter on the ride home!  Honestly, I don't know how one stays sane after that.)

Morning Walk

Right near us is a little bird's paradise that we visit on our walks.  While Samantha seems to be enjoying her surroundings, which I do believe she is, she also informed her dad while he was clicking the camera, that she was tooting.  That's my girl!
The turtles have made this their sunning log:-)

Buried Alive!

Not that I don't love it when they get along, but who thought of this!?  I truly am happy that they had fun but I told them - that will be the last time you'll bury your sister/brother.  Why, you ask?  Well the plain truth - the local cats like to..uh..."visit" this place.  Needless to say, as soon as we can, this sandbox is toast!

Glamour Girls

Samantha showing her artistic side with....barrettes!

Let me show you how fashion is done for a seven year old!

After several makeovers, there was plenty of smiles to share.

Princess Zoe

Despite her "issues," we love her!

My Sickly Cat Zoe

Twelve year old Zoe is enjoying her new view from the second floor.  Since we've made her an indoor cat, I get the pleasure of cleaning up her throw up.  I roughly estimate in the last 4 years, I have cleaned it up (in various places mind you) about 1400 times.  I know, I'm a saint & maybe a little crazy too.

Lilly's 7th Birthday at Skate City

Samantha celebrating Lilly's ever so important 7 year old birthday!

Mammoth Game

Forgot to post these pics!  Troy, Brandon & little man Zac went to go see the last Mammoth game of the season.  I'm pretty sure they lost but the boys had a great time!

Loved the Denver Museum of Nature and Science!

Great day (windy & cold!) to finally visit the Denver Museum with Zac and Samantha.  We spent four hours there and still didn't see everything.  Did you know if you started counting right now to a billion it would take 32 years??  Loved our visit:-)
The kids would make a nice snack!

Okay - this was the scariest thing there - it was huge!  The picture doesn't do it justice just so you know.
Maybe we should get a membership???
The males are so big compared to the females and absolutely giant size compared to the babies.
I thought this was cool - if you were to see the world start on a calendar year, we'd be on December 27th.
Great time!!
